Is it hard to open a Stock Brokerage Account?

First of all its not a stock brokerage account its stock trading acount. Yes you need to open 3 accounts namely trading, current and demat account with the bank or financial corporation to start trading in stocks.

Creating a YouTube account? I'm sorry, you're being misled.

You simply need to find a local bank or brokerage that allows you to invest in the LSE. Just about any local bank will allow it, though brokerages may allow for lower fees.

You don't need anything in particular. It's just like opening any other ordinary bank account, once you hit 18. You need your ID, and some initial capital to invest. Just sign some papers, and you can start investing.

no one in your family can help you?

hope you have at least about 5 grand

Go to https://www.barclaysstockbrokers.co.uk and click "Get Started " and go through the useful tutorial. This will answer many of your questions. You will then have to decide on your preferred broker.

I'm 17 and want to invest in the London Stock Exchange when I turn 18. Currently I am educating myself on all this.

However one problem I come across is, how do you open an account? A lot of answers say it is as simple as creating a YouTube account, while others say it requires an interview, etc, etc.

I want to start by trading online. Can anyone help explain the process of opening an account for the LSE?
