single stocks. Janus Venture (JAVTX) is a small growth
type mutual fund that has returned $25,000 for a $10,000
investment over a 10 year period, (pretty good) It is
rated 4 stars by Morningstar and return for riak is good.
I would hold onto this fund and make single stock buys
seperatly.
I wouldn't take any advice from messageboards when it comes to stocks, but I think your stocks are good ones right now with BAC and DIS, and I like AAPL where its at now especially since they pay a solid dividend also. I dont follow any funds like Janus.
Apple is falling right now & most brokerages are rating it as a "hold". So I wouldn't buy into it at this time.
the time to buy into it in recent history was about 3 years ago.
Im building my portfolio and am looking for moderate growth low risk. I realize the Janus fund is high. The first few weeks of this year aren't to big a concern. All this Apple hype has me wondering if now is a good time to get in. I've also purchased BAC and DIS shares.
