In the newspaper. There is usually a section showing the most active stocks, as well as a list of the closing values of every stock on the exchange. You need to know the abbreviation of your stocks to find them. Then write these numbers down each day, so you can see whether it is going up or down. It's fun to make a graph of these in excel, too.

In the "Quote Lookup" box, enter the name of the company or ticker symbol. I'll use IBM, takes you here:

Click on the chart and expand to one year (1 yr) for technical analysis or the left sidebar for fundamental analysis and info and news releases.

On the companies website all you need is your account No.
