hello, i used to have margin account but now i am a pattern day trader and i have under 25K in my account. Today i bought this options call and try to sell it few hours later. But when i tried to execute the trade, it says if i sell it i will be restricted to cash only transaction for 90 days. The thing is i have been only using my cash and i always use my settled fund. I am little bit confused why they are warning me. I don't have margin account so it is obvious that i only use my cash and i never do free riding. I have been doing only options and the fund takes 1 day to settle. Is there any bad consequence with this transaction? what exactly happens with that 90 days cash transaction rules?
