2.22% is 0.0222.
$592.58 share price x 0.0222 dividend yield = $13.16/year.
It says that the price for an apple stock is 592.58
It says that the dividend yield is 2.22
I know that dividend yield equals the value annual divident per share divided by price per share
Does that mean if I bought a share with 592.58 I will get 1315.5276 (592.58*2.22)
If not please explain what does it mean
If yes then we why does it say that the share price divided by the earnings per share is 14.16
It does not make sense to me can anyone explain please
I appreciate it
