Being a stock broker at 19?

Learn as much as you can about the markets. This will help you during your interview. Twitter is a good source for following money managers and pro traders. Learn to weed out the good ones from the bad. A lot of times they will post their trades in real time, make note of the ones that interest you and track their performance. Then go back and study the charts to their winning trades and look for patterns in price that made the trade successful.

Also, setup a virtual trading account and manage it as to be apart of your resume. Put together a great cover letter and start submitting them to different firms. Get a leg up on your competition and begin studying for entry level securities licenses. I did exactly what I am recommending and on several occasions was called the same day that I submitted my application. Firms want to see motivation both in and outside of college.

Hi I just graduated highschool. I'm not in college just yet. I've been interested in becoming a stock broker since 2010, I run an online business so I would say I have an experience in sales. I was thinking of just going to some firms around the area and seeing if they can sponsor me? I have the slightest idea of what I would have to do to begin this journey, how did you did it? Thanks in advance.
