How much money is each stock represented?

A price will be quoted in the standard dollar unit of your country- the (USD Dollars.cents) or pounds and fractions or pence. Whole units plus parts of a unit. For instance if a stock is less than $USD, the price would be $0.50. If it went up by a dollar, the price would be $1.50

UK shares quoted in pence

US shares quoted in dollars and cents

Euro shares quoted in euros and eurocents.

I know this is a rookie question before you all yell, but I'm just wondering what unit the number representing a stock is in? for instance on yahoo share price chart there is one for 758.5, Is this Pounds or pence? so is it £7 or £758? Or of this isn't anything to do with it please enlighten me haha
