1. Add beginning & ending equity and divide by 2 to get average equity.

2. Divide net income by equity to get ROE

3. Can't compute P/E ratio without knowing the price per share.

4. Can't compute dividend yield without knowing price per share. They probably want you to compute dividends by assuming that's the only activity in retained earnings besides net income.

I have some issues on an accounting problem in finding (1) Return on Common Stockholders' Equity (2) price-earnings ration and (3) dividend yields.

For (1) I don't understand how to find the avg equity with the given information and for (2) and (3) I'm not sure how to get the market price per share.

If you can help out with any of these 3 that would be much appreciated
