Generally, it's through drug use. Most people know dealers through transactions they make with them. Smart drug dealers don't use themselves, dumb ones certainly do.

Get a pharmacy degree.

Get a job as a pharmaceutical sales rep.

Making those types of contacts means its also a chance you could end up dead.

Mutual funds or ETF funds that contain pharmaceutical companies .

contacts are by word of mouth. everything has to be hushed up since it is easily reported.

I don't plan on doing any if this but I am curious to how someone would make contacts in the drug industry or invest their money into drugs. There has to be done way that people get contacts in the criminal underworld. Any help is appreciated.
