Hi, I'm currently 18 years old and starting college in the fall and I know I want to do anything that has the stock market involved just because, its a game I wanna win. Anyways, just today I decided to invest imaginary money into stocks I feel will rise in the next couple of months and I was wondering what you all thought of my decisions. :)
Started with $45,000
Invested $10,500 into Alpha Natural Resources at $4.20 per share. Just because I have been watching them for a while and they are making good moves recently. Might think to sell earlier then later however.
$11,270 in Synovous Finacial, also been watching them for awhile probably one of my riskier investments with a reverse split coming up in near future.
$13,530 in SLM Corporation, Book value is higher then stock price at the moment leaving for a decent margin for safety.
$9,700 in Navient Corp, newest stock I found, opened just today and feel like they will do well in near future.
I'm rather serious about my knowledge in the stock market and feel I already know a good amount for only being 18. If anyone has any advice or anything to mention just go ahead please! Also email me if you would like to talk more about stocks or anything business related, thoward899@yahoo.com
