I need advice on buying shares?

Plus 500 is a spread betting site and not for long term investment.

Try svs securities on-line or `hargreaves lansdown or T D waterhouse. All .co.uk

Look to keep the shares for at least 3 years.

It is easy if you get the right information at the adequate time. Open an account with a recognized broker such as TDAmeritrade or Charles Schwab. Follow accounts of investment firms such as AllianceBernstein, ValkCorp, BlackRock and T Rowe Price.

For a first time/one off purchase, your bank can do it for you. The price obviously fluctuates, so you cannot be sure of the buying share price in advance. There will be a fee to pay - naturally! When you are more into it, you can choose a broker to register with, for easy trading.

Never heard of Plus500.

Use a stockbroker.

So I'm thinking of buying £500 of tesco shares as I'm very sure the value will rise. I've always wanted to get into shares, but it seems complicated.

I've used the demo mode of Plus500 and it seems easy enough, but is it a scam? I have no experience or the markets so I just am not sure what the best way to get shares is
