Investing in nasdaq need information?

Investing triples your money in a decade.

Gambling triples your money overnight.

So what are you trying to do?

45 years ago I had $3000. I bought speculative stocks. In less than 2 years all of that money was gone. WHAT IF I had bought Coca Cola, my favorite drink at the time, reinvested the dividends and held on? I lost out on thousands.

Your earliest investing mistakes are the most costly.

(however, I don't expect you to learn from my experience. I have the feeling you think it must be a pretty simple process of getting rich)

Hehe - a percentage of your profit? No worries, I'll give you some quick advice and you can keep all your profit.

Supercomputers are constantly analyzing stock data trying to derive patterns in the market, and from all of this there is no set formula to earn consistent profits.

There are three types of people in the market: 1) Those that have no idea what they're doing (~50%); 2) Those that have an idea, and that idea is gambling trying to win big (~30%); and 3) Smart investors that control their emotions and utilize a disciplined trading strategy to become successful (~20%).

If you want to be in the third category, you need to possess a good understanding of how the market works and why traders act the way they do.

If you're totally new to investing, I recommend visiting Investopedia.com. This website has some good articles and videos explaining the basics of the market. Once you have a basic understanding, then you need to venture your way through all the gambling/speculative strategies out there on the Internet and find those small golden nuggets of useful information.

We could spend all day chatting about this. Once you understand market basics, then visit www.thestockmarketoutsider.com. Here you'll find all my knowledge compiled into a single book.

In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions. And good luck next week, just please be smart with where you put your money.
