Would this be a smart investment?

it depends if its a long term or short term investment as there are different strategies for each. short term, get out before it falls. long term - invest in the company, keep in even when it goes low. this is for over a year. ignore the fluctuations. long term investments are less gut wrenching. investments for the future, technology, health, and arts

if your are young then its investing in the long term. if you were my age it would definitely short term investing. you can do income cost average. Good luck, do your research and invest!!! Good Bless

Anything less than $1,000 isn't worth investing in the stock market. Use it for an education, food or living expenses. The $500 minimum is really only for those who are absolute professionals at trading, and can make profit off of any amount.

can you afford to lose it all? if so, try your investment, but be prepared

If I have $100 and invest in 2 stocks that are $12 a piece, would that be a good idea short term and long term? I keep track of the stocks and it goes up 20-30 cents everyday and its value is said to be $4 up in the next year or 2.
