Can Minors Trade Stocks?

In North America minors can not invest or trade in the stock market, not can they open a brokerage account. A minor is some one who has not reached the age of 18, therefore those that are 20 years old can open brokerage accounts.

Other words you must be 18 years of age to open a brokerage account.

VCMG - Minors CAN NOT TRADE ANY SECURITY.

I'm earning good money with this binary option signal sofrware ( http://forexsignal.kyma.info ) What I'm going to show you now might irritate old-fashioned traders who can't accept that a piece of software can outperform what they have learned through many years of trial and error

Minors can trade stocks but you need to open an account with a custodian, like your parent.

No, not in their own name.

Okay well I've heard that trading equities is not aloud for minors and some say otherwise, but looking around I found a Business Insider article with the title 20 under 20 and it talked about minors trading stocks very openly. BI is a credible website so clearly if they publish such an article then nobody really cares if minors go out and trade stocks.
