I am doing research on trends in stocks that are experiencing very high trade volume. http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/reports/default.asp This website lets me generate historical data for stocks with the highest volume on specific days, which is exactly what I'm looking for. The problem is that there is a minimum threshold of $12 for the stock to exist on the report. I want to be able to generate a report with high volume stocks of any price. Ideally, I am looking for the stocks to be listed in order of volume so I can measure the stock with the highest volume for each business day in a year.

Generators like yahoo don't keep historical data for daily generated reports like volume leaders, so those won't work. I need to be able to look back one year.
