Is this a good sign?

It's probably a bad thing because a daily volume that's that low probably has large spreads between the prices people will offer for the stock - "bid price" - and the prices people will sell the stock for - "ask price".

So a bid could be $13.50 and the ask price could be $14.00.

If the volume was 1 million the bid might be $13.75 and the ask price $13.80

Not a huge problem but if you want to sell quickly, you might not get the price you want.

Volume by itself means nothing in terms of the value of the stock or its future performance.

Im new to investing in the stock market so I need someone to clarify my thought process (I dont have many friends who knows about this stuff). Im looking at a stock that has over 700M shares outstanding, but the volume is just a lil over 100K, Is that a good thing?
