Tips and strategies for living out of your car?

Find a place to shower like a gym, cold food like milk can be kept in a little ice chest so you can have cereal or little deli meats for sandwiches. Peanut butter keeps well and you can get hot dogs and eat them cold cheap. Also they have feeding programs that will feed meals to get a hot meal. Bathrooms are nice at fast food places but don't use the same one too often. Some state parks might have showers you can use in the day without paying to use a camp site.

Parking at night might be a problem so keep moving, Walmart allows campers to park so you can park there or anywhere that is open all night in the far side of the lot, security might run you off. You might be allowed to park at work to sleep but that would be embarrassing. Ask friends if you can park at their house or use a rest area a couple hours at a time.

Try to get a motel once or twice a week to get a nice long night of sleep in a bed with a hot shower.

Okay so I just recently found out that I'm going to be living out of my car due to recent events. I'm looking for tips and strategies from people that have been in this experience.. ie; privacy, what should I get for food, what should I invest in to make the "stick shift motel" more convenient. I'm not going to be wanting to hit the dollar menu every day so what are some good non perishable items can I purchase to stock up on that will last? I also have a storage unit so I won't be crowded. Thank you in advance.
