Put your ￡3000 in a low expense Growth Stock Mutual fund, over the medium to long term you will do FAR better because you won't be getting "frustrated with research", and frustration is the easiest way to make bad decisions!

Please help me!! this is doing my head in.

So after quite a few hours of research, and filtering through a load of crap website with crap information, which is one of the things i hate doing. I finally figured that the best stock broker to start with would be Scottrade. Plus with Scot in the name i thought it would be from the uk. When trying to register for an account however it looks like you need to be American to sign up.....................

AAAAGGGHHHHHHHH it took me hours to come to the decision to trade with them!

Please can anyone recommend a UK stockbroker, for someone investing a small amount (￡3000) with relatively medium-long term investments.
