What stocks should i invest in?

I like Bank of America and think that it would double to $30 within 5yrs(thats 20% gains a year) I have been LONG bank of america since 2008. Sectors to consider are within the tech, financial and health sectors. I am simply giving tips based on my research, dont invest without research. I have added to my stock position because companies dividends have increased so that would be a higher payout to me at year end. Think long term through dollar cost average and you will be fine

Take Care

If you don't know anything about picking stocks, you should invest in an index fund such as SPY or DIA.

think about what is your time horizon, and what is your risk tolerance (can you afford to lose this money). there are high risk stocks (RCPT) and there are growth stocks (AAPL) and there are stocks with steady growth that raise their dividends (PG) and there are exchange traded funds stocks which invest in a variety of industries like biotech (IBB) and so on. so what is your game plan.

Don't take advice from people online to which stocks to invest. Take some time and learn how to read charts and price action, trend and support and resistance levels. Once you can read a stock chart you won't need any ones advice as you will be able to know when to enter and exit a stock on your own. Right now biotechs are hot but maybe go over to finviz.com and do a scan of stocks with good volume and new highs and look at the charts for those.Buy on pullbacks and take a profit and move on to the next.

No idea. How much money do you have? Is this a lump sum, or will you be investing every month? How long is your timeline? Are you looking for growth or income?

Since you seem to know nothing about investing, and will take blind advice from strangers on the Internet, I would tell you NOT to invest anything in stocks.

Research and figure out what is best for you. Generally, I would suggest that you invest in quality mutual funds or ETFs, not individual stocks. Depending on your purpose, this should be done inside an IRA or other retirement vehicle.

Washington Mutual Bank and General Motors. I will sell you every share I have - cheap.

Enron is also a good one, but I do not have any of that wallpaper.
