you can't look at one month periods - over 5 to 6 months, during the past few years, stocks did better from October to May than May to October, so you Buy in Oct and sell in May - not guaranteed to work all the time

Its always a good time to buy if you are a long term investor because years from now,stocks will be higher.

Investments tend to fall in October, wouldn't that be a good time to take advantage of the lower prices and buy as much of your investment as yo can? Buy low and hold on for the long time?
