It's hard for me to believe that cannabis will ever be particularly big business in the US and the barriers to entry are miniscule (kids grow marijuana in their dorm rooms). Why would you invest in a company that has nothing of proprietary value? The issues with investing in marijuana have nothing at all to do with legalization, but about who would make money if that happened. There are no companies now that have valuable brands, production insights, patents, customer loyalty, govt privilege, or really anything of value.

Obviously this is a newer type of public stock, but I have been doing some research on this market and wasn't sure whether this first quarter of 2014 was a fluke or if it will hit highs again next time the pass laws and legalize MJ in other states. I have been watching MJNA and CANV . What are your opinions on this? Clearly We all have our own, so I'm curious to see what others think. Where is the U.S. headed with legalizing cannabis? Curious to hear your opinions.
