Investing in stock market? is it too late?

Posted at: 2014-12-05
I am already 24 years old and I am still learning the basics..

I've heard of people investing earlier and they got their fortune around 21 years old.

Stock market can be risky, sometimes real risky. Its not to late (ever) to start investing but your best bet would be to talk to a finical advisor. That is the best thing I ever did and they advise me of different investments and then keep track of them for me. I had one that was losing money, they called me and we cashed that one in and bought something else. I enjoy the interest off these account and more important enjoy spending the interest money any way I want.

There's your answer then. If people can be good enough at it to make a fortune by 21, it obviously isn't going to take a lifetime to learn the market.

Not sure how many people have made a fortune on stocks by 21. In fact I have not heard about any. I started at 24 so I think your looking ok. Learn about price action first and foremost , learn trends, buying on pullbacks, candle stick patterns, and just become a master at how the market moves and how stocks move, look at the characteristics of a chart. Do not learn a ton of technical analysis indicators, they lag and will be useless and most top traders use very few of them.

Making money in the markets is easy. What is difficult is finding and sticking to a strategy that works well for you.

Ask yourself what is an exceptable rate of return that will allow you to sleep well at night. Find the strategy that works safely for you and stick to it.

Consistency and due dilligence is going to pay off in the long run.

How much you have to start with and how much "your fortune" needs to be will be different for everyone

Don't count on making your fortune on the market, especially not in today's market.

"Too old"? LOL. Don't expect to "make a fortune." You can make a decent return IF you invest wisely and for the long term.

You have been listening to a lot of nonsense.

It is never too late to invest.
