Investing overseas?

Using a brokerage like Interactive Brokers, which supports trading of stocks that are listed on international exchanges, allows US investors to invest in many international markets. My company's service, https://Screener.co , allows users to screen stocks listed on over 120 global stock exchanges. Our stock screener is the most comprehensive global screener that is available at a reasonable cost.

You cannot (directly) invest in stocks in a nation where you are not registered to pay taxes, I'm afraid...

And I could only find one well-rated Mutual Fund available to you in the UK that invests primarily in US equities... http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/funds/sn...

If you "cannot find many UK stocks" that are good opportunities, you may be looking in the wrong places...the FTSE has risen from 4,732 in 2009 to 6,878 just now, an increase of 2,146, or 45% (an annualized return of 9%...none too shabby for during a global slowdown!)

Ok well im from britain and Most of the time i can only find potential in stocks from US. Is it a good idea to ivnest my money in US stocks because I cannot find much potential in UK stocks. Most stocks im interested in are from the US such as Ford, Apple.

So does anybody else invest in Us stocks but live in other country? Also if anybody is from UK is there any advice you can give me? Where can i look? Im trying to use a stock screener but they are mainly for US stocks aswell.

im trying to get value for money but cannot find many in UK stocks.

thank you!
