Can anybody help me with ways to approach investors , attract them and establish a new company?

Firstly, decide on what business you want to set up. Have a business plan ready, so as to be able to explain your business product and strategy to potential investors. You must be very clear on each step of the plan, so you can convince your investors.

Well, once your business plan is ready, tell about your plan to your frnds, ex colleagues etc about it. I think you could get an investor only through someone who knows you and trusts that you are good and efficient at your work. I am not sure whether someone not know to you would be willing to invest in a startup plan.

Best option to hire a legal advisor and then approach to investor, In my opinion.
