Are you having any shares with them ? Have you not informed your intention of closing ? The Rs2000/ may be accumulated one ! If you have any share with them you will have to pay.

i have a demat account with indiabulls securities. it has been inactive for few years as i had forgotten about it. Recently when i tried to close it i was asked to pay 2000/- as annual charges. If i dont close it can they come after me in the future ?
