Question about Stocks?

Over the years!

There have been teens that have learn about investing.

You may need your parent to be custdians for you to invest.

Check with the state they may have a "Unification gifts to minors act".

Tha t allows you with your parents being in control of your account until your legal age.

For those of you who think you need to know how and what to invest!

Take a shet of newspaper that has stock tables on it, post it on a board and throw darts at it.

Then keep track of it and see how they do.

You may be surprised!!!!!

Until you are 18, you will need a custodial account at a broker - at 16, you cannot legally set up an order since that is a contract. Since your parents are supporting you on this, there should be no problem. And if you are doing your own research and stock analyzing, no one broker is better than another.

this ought to be fun to watch. A teenager who thinks he knows what he is doing. Anyway, teenagers can open bank accounts online with, I think it is called Young America Bank somewhere in the Midwest.

So, I'm 16 years old an I'm very interested in doing stocks. Is there a certain age you have to be to do stocks? I also need to make a student bank account for myself, so where should I sign up for one( Near CT) . My parents are willing to give me 2k to start off because I know what I'm doing. Also is TD Ameritrade a good stock company to go with.

Thank You :)
