I leave in 6 days! I'm bringing a stapler, three hole punch, a ton of pens and a pen cup to put them in, post-its, and some things from home that are special to me, just to decorate. I chose fun colors for my pen cup and organizers, just to keep it from being drab. I'm also bringing 4 stuffed animals - including one pillow pet. Also, I don't know if this will help you, but for AP Physics last year, I had to use MasteringPhysics, and I found it very helpful to have a whiteboard to work the problems out on (plus, it saved paper) and I could color-code things in the problem. Just an idea. But, really, bring something that reminds you of home and the first 18 years of your life.

CALENDAR! one that you can write on and one to hang in your room. its ridiculous how much that helped me freshman year. if you have your own room might I suggest buying your own pillows and blankets. most dorm room beds are awful hard things and you need plenty of padding to get it some what sleepable.

Headed for college in a week! Any last minute items that I should buy that REALLY helped you out your freshman year for staying organized and being productive? What about anything fun just to have in your room? I don't feel like I bought much yet :/
