What's the best stock market simulator?

I have one, but you have to sign a classroom up, its: http://www.smg.org/ if that doesn't work, just search it up. It goes by real time, and you have a virtual $100,000 to spend. Remember that you have to become a teacher and sign your school up or something. But it goes by real time and you can "invest" in real companies, like Wal-Mart, Target, Tootsie Roll, etc. I did it for my class and won 2nd place in my state! <3

There is no advantage to a simulator that trades real time over one that is delayed, unless you're trying to game the system, in which case it's just another useless/pointless video game.

You say, "I've been trying to learn..." Good, that's what it's for, learning, not gaming. The simulator teaches you which buttons to push, but not much more. It will not teach you how to make money. Your strategy does that. But that implies you have learned something about trading first, have determined your risk level and time frame and developed a trade plan. In order to become consistent, it implies you know something about good money management techniques. It can all be tested on the simulator, and there is no advantage to real time data.

The best use of a simulator is to test your trade plan. If you are just shooting from the hip and hitting buttons at random, the simulator is pointless/useless, another video game. Your objective is to reduce risk and become consistent, which requires a written plan with rules and good trading strategy.

For the proper use of a simulator, almost any of them will do for testing purposes.

No, actually you are trying to learn how to gamble in the stock market (day trading). If you want to get rich in the stock market you have to get rich slow. About 90% of day traders lose all their money.

This one is good (but UK). There are prizes to be won and the platform behaves just like the real one as far as liquidity goes.
