Question about selling stocks?

Yes, you would get a $5 profit, less trade commissions that are typically about $8 per trade (not per share). You pay $8 when buying one or more Nike shares and another $8 when selling those shares. If you purchased 100 shares for $7,000 and sold them for $7,500, you would have a profit of $484 after paying $16 in commissions.

the fee for buying is let say 10$ and the fee for selling is also 10$

thus when a person would have 80$ on his brokerage account and bought one share at 70 + the fee

and would placed an selling order on the same day at the selling course of 75$

he would have on his brokerage account afterwards $65

and afterwards would mean after three trading days the stock market should be open the money is dedected from the account and after three days also the selling order is added to his brokeraccount, his for a male and her for a female

Yes you can sell it right away if you want. However, selling after one day is not a profitable strategy in most cases. Unless you happened to buy Netflix this week on the day before it went up $50 or more. And lightning like that doesn't strike very often, almost once in a lifetime.

The short answer is yes. Make sure you are calculating the buying and selling costs and using the bid price (the lower of the two) to calculate profit

Yes, you can...but don't worry, it takes longer than a day to appreciate that much and there will also be a buy and sell commission to pay.

Let's say I buy a share of nike for lets say $70.00

And the next day the close price is $75.00

Can I sell the stock after one day, and take the $5.00 profit? Or is their more to it that I don't know. I am a rookie and buying and selling stocks
