Stock Broking information?

So..

Penny stocks, also known as cent stocks in some countries, are common shares of small public companies that trade at low prices per share. They are notoriously risky but if you follow a special method I've learned you can earn good money at almost no risk. This is the site I use: http://pennystocks.toptips.org

I definitely recommend subscribing to this site in particular. Very good research, quality stocks. I was a bit weary of penny stocks from all the bad hype they receive but this guy is pretty legit. He's put my mind at ease with a lot of the fears I've had. I especially like that he doesn't send out announcements left and right. I've signed up for other websites that fill my in-box with one company after the other. I don't know where to even start with so many choices in front of me! Nathan sends me one idea a week and that's all I need. Working so many hours during the week leaves me with very little time when I get home to start doing tons of penny stock research. I'm always eager to see what Nathan's next suggestion is each Friday and I love having time on the weekend to do my research.

As said above if you want to make money with penny stocks you have to follow some proven methods. This one in my opinion is the best: http://pennystocks.toptips.org

Bye

1-All registered brokerage firms that do business with the general public make all equity products available to their customers, they therefore will do transactions in the same securities.

HOWEVER, not all brokerage firms "trade" securities for themselves, they only do agency trades for their customers.

2-Nearly all brokerage firms that deal with the general public employee "stock brokers" but they do not necessiraly have "traders" on their staff. Firms that have "traders" on their staff usually work together with the other traders. Traders are usually in the trading department while sales reps are in sales.

There is a big difference between traders and sales reps. Traders could be sales reps but not all sales reps can be traders.

3-Traders can usually more than stock brokers, Sales reps are paid a commission based on what they generate, traders often receive a salary but they also share in any net profitss they generate.

What is more desireable - it depends on the individuals, some like sales while others like trading.

In most firms,. traders do not deal directly with the clients of the firm, this is left to the sales reps. However, there are times when traders will help reps when they are various type products.

4-Investment banking addresses all types of income and assist large investors or corporation raise or protect their capital. Privae bankers assist those large financially strong clients with their money management

There are many brokerage firms that have inveswtment banking departments that assist such clients with their investment banking needs

Ok I'm doing some work experience at a stock broking firm and need to know a few things.

1. Do all stock broking firms trade in the same stock I.e do they all do commodities and other stocks.

2. Do all stock broking firms employee only stock brokers but trades also or do traders work alone.

3. Who earns more stock brokers or stock trades and what job is more desirable from what I've heard stock broking is more. And do both deal with clients.

4. (Off topic) whats the difference between investment and private banking and do stock broking firms do investment banking or do they leave that for banks such as Lloyds.

Thanks.
