Did you MEAN 10% a MONTH? Or an annualized ROI of 10%? That's 25.94% a year!

After five years, your $2,000 would be worth $20,071.41!!!

FV = PV x (1 + i)^n

FV =2000 x (1 + 10%)^5 = 3,221.02

Returns = 3,221.02 - 2000 = 1221.02
